COD Mobile initiated the Ranked Season 3 with a huge patch update that not only shifted the meta, but the developers also implemented significant changes in the gunsmith by reducing the damage of all the ARs, SMG’s & shotguns in the game, barring just the Snipers. The annoying movement-decrease effect from Thermite has been decreased as well as its damage radius. Melee weapons such as the Axe & Baseball bat received a nerf as well which decreased both the weapons range. While some may agree that the game feels quite balanced now, a bug with devastating capabilities was spotted in the game just hours ago. in Season 6 – The Heat of COD Mobile – HVK-30 – Bugged – Broken – Fix –
The game-breaking bug was found with the HVK-30 assault rifle which insanely increases the damage of the weapon at mid-range. When the HVK-30 is equipped with the Large-Caliber Ammo, each shot to the chest deals a damage of 59 while a shot to the head takes the damage up to 92, which is higher than the damage dealt by most Snipers in the game. The damage ratio remains unchanged from 5 meters to 30 meters, making it a two-tap gun even in such distances. Combine this with its fearsome Fire Rate of 71 which makes the bugged HVK-30 unstoppable in the game. Oddly enough, the same bug is unable to deal any damage to targets that are 40 meters away.

However, before people could abuse this in the game, COD Mobile had just released a small patch that has fixed the bug & the HVK-30 is now back to its basic form. HVK-30 doesn’t fall into the current meta of COD Mobile in Season 3, so, it will not be wise to test out this gun now in ranked. Most players will stick with the Fennec & AS-VAL for now that are still dominating the multiplayer maps.
