Sagar Rathee named Tamil Thalaivas captain for PKL season 11

Sagar Rathee will captain Tamil Thalaivas for the third time in PKL Season 11, aiming to lead the team to their first-ever Pro Kabaddi League trophy.

Ahead of PKL Season 11, Tamil Thalaivas have announced their captain for the upcoming season. Defender Sagar Rathee will once again captain the Chennai-based franchise. This will be Sagar’s third stint as captain for the Tamil Thalaivas.

Rathee’s leadership journey with Tamil Thalaivas

Sagar Rathee first led Tamil Thalaivas in Season 9, guiding the franchise to its first-ever Play-Off appearance, where they secured a spot in the semi-finals. He continued his leadership in Season 10 and has now been entrusted with the responsibility for the 11th season as well.

Rathee is recognized for his defensive prowess, strategic brilliance, and sportsmanship. His leadership on and off the mat has been instrumental in the team’s progress, making him the natural choice to lead the Thalaivas once again.
