Pro Kabaddi: PKLs most successful raiders of all time

Insidesport takes a look at Pro Kabaddi's most successful raiders, across all seasons.

Kabaddi is a sport dominated by the Raiders, without any doubt. Raiders are the ones who are star attractions, and do the bulk of the scoring for any team. Once again, in Pro Kabaddi Season 10, things are going to be the same, where the raiders will rule the roost. The previous nine seasons have seen some stalwart raiders, who are still continuing to play and are still as effective. The PKL has also seen a few, who have fizzled out after showing a lot of promise. But there are only a few who have stood the test of time.

Pardeep Narwal (1577 points)

The former Patna Pirates superstar, Pardeep Narwal has the most points in Pro Kabaddi history, with a massive 1577 points, in a few matches over 150. He has 79 Super 10s to his name, which is once again the most in the PKL. Come the 2023 season, he would like to add another 250-300 points to his kitty, playing for UP Yoddhas. He has an average of 10.25 raid points per match, third best in the league.

Maninder Singh (1244 points)

The Bengal Warriors stalwart, Maninder Singh is a bull on the mat, and that shows. The veteran has 1244 overall points in his career and that too, in just 122 matches. He scores 10.09 points, on an average, in each game, which makes him one of the best raiders the game has ever seen. He is good to add another 300 points in this PKL season.

Rahul Chaudhari (1100 points)

In the first few years of the Pro Kabaddi, Rahu Chaudhari had emerged as the most potent raider, but in the last couple of years he has been ineffective. For the same reason, he was not picked by any team in the PKL auction 2023. Nonetheless, he is league’s one of the most successful raiders still, with 1100 points in 150 matches. It’s unfortunate, we won’t see him this year though.

Pawan Sehrawat (1037 points)

After missing the entire last season due to an injury, Pawan Sehrawat made a fine comeback at the Asian Games, where he led the team to a gold medal. Then at the PKL auction 2023, he fetched a bid of 2.65 cr, making him the most expensive player in the league’s history. That only shows his prowess, not only as a raider, but also a leader. He looks good to add another 300 points this year.
