India’s Yuki Bhambri and his Australian partner Alexei Popyrin continued their excellent form at the Dubai Tennis Championships, securing a spot in the final. This will be Yuki’s first ever final in any ATP 500 tournament. The duo clinched a thrilling three-set victory in the ATP 500 tournament semi-finals, defeating the British-Australian team of Jamie Murray and John Peers with a score of 6-2, 4-6, 10-7 in a 1 hour and 25-minute match.

Yuki and Popyrin will face the second-seeded mixed team of Harri Heliovaara from Finland and Henry Patten from Great Britain in the final. The British-Australian duo of Murray and Peers fought back in the second set, showing an impressive first serve with an 86% win percentage, which propelled the match into a super tiebreaker. Yuki and Popyrin quickly took a 5-1 lead in the final set, but Murray and Peers leveled the score to 5-5, making it a nail-biter.

Ultimately, Bhambri and Popyrin held their nerve to edge past their opponents, closing the super tiebreaker at 10-7. This win secures their place in the final, where they will aim for the title against Heliovaara and Patten.
