With his 4th wicket in the game, Shakib became the highest wicket-taker in T20Is, surpassing New Zealand’s Tim Southee. Shakib now has 136 wickets in T20Is along with over 2000 runs with the bat.
Earlier, rain halted play just after the toss, but a 17-over game was possible. Litton and Rony Talukdar (44) played fine knocks at the top and Shakib and Hridoy continued the dominance. In reply, Ireland’s horror show with the bat continued as they lost 6 wickets in the first 6 overs.
