IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals are set to name a young Bengal wicket-keeper batter as Rishabh Pant replacement in Indian Premier League 2023. Abhishek Porel, a 20-year-old player will replace the full-time DC captain in season 16. Notably, Pant who was in a car accident in December is not playing in the upcoming season of IPL. In his absence, David Warner will lead the team from Delhi. And now Pant’s replacement in the team is also set to be named.

Porel, a left-handed player for Bengal, can keep wickets and is also a left-hander like Rishabh Pant.
The Bengali left-hander, 20, made his professional debut during the previous campaign, and he is now Pant’s replacement in the Capitals franchise, as per PTI.
He has a significant opportunity to dazzle and establish himself.
