The gesture by the Hong Kong team has completely floored Kohli. He has thanked Hong Kong team.

IND vs HK Highlights:India have sealed their spot in Super 4 with a comprehensive 40-run win over HongKong in Dubai on Wednesday. Suryakumar Yadav hammered 26-ball 68 while Virat Kohli scored 44-ball 59 to take India to 192/2. Although HongKong tried their best but could not go close to India’s total. They managed 152/5.

Chasing a target of 193 was never going to be an easy task for Hong Kong, especially with quality bowlers in India camp. India started on the right note with Arshdeep Singh removing Yasim Murtaza in the 2nd over. However, Babar Hayat made India’s bowling look mediocre. He took on Avesh Khan and Arshdeep Singh in the powerplay. While he was dismissed Ravindra Jadeja, he scored a fighting 41 off 35 balls.
But before the powerplay got over, India removed Hong Kong captain Nizakat Khan. All the credit goes to Ravindra Jadeja whose direct hit was on impeccable. But Hong Kong still managed to score 51/2 in the powerplay.

Things got difficult for the minnows with Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja bowling in tandem. While Chahal did not get a wicket, he kept things quiet with 18 runs from his 4 overs. For Jadeja, he dismissed Babar Hayat on a straight delivery to end up with 1/15 in his 4.
With no Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli too rolled his arm over to contribute with an over in exchange for 6 runs. But both Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan will raise concerns for Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid. Both were poor against Hong Kong. Arshdeep ended up with 1/44 in his 4 while Avesh Khan conceded 53 in his 4 for 1 wicket.
For Hong Kong, Kinchit Shah (30 off 28) and, Zeeshan Ali (26 off 17) and Scott McKechnie (16 off 8) played small cameos. However, it was not going to be enough. In the end, Hong Kong ended up with 152/5 in 20 overs to lose the match by 40 runs.
