MS Dhoni has played 69 matches of his 232 matches for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have played their last league home game of the IPL 2024 season. As a tradition, the 5-time champions bid adieu to the Chennai crowd in great fashion. MS Dhoni gifted t-shirts, tennis balls, and his time to fans despite being heavily impaired.

But Dhoni didn’t just devote his time to fans. He also clicked a picture with people who have made every game at the MA Chidambaram Stadium possible: the ground staff. Dhoni, along with CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad, gave their time to the silent workers.

MS Dhoni playing his last match at Chepauk due to injury?

Although fans may not like it, Dhoni may have already played his final match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. The wicketkeeper is already nursing a muscle tear injury and may have also hurt his back during the CSK vs RR match. He was seen wearing a back brace while holding during the first inning. He underwent knee surgery last year, and from the looks of it, his knee isn’t still at 100%.
