Can LSG play fast-bowling all-rounder Arshin Kulkrani in place of Marcus Stoinis against DC?
Stoinis has been pretty average for LSG in the tournament so far. In 4 matches, the Aussie all-rounder has only managed to score 108 runs and has only taken a single wicket.

Lucknow Super Giants are in a pretty good space right now. The KL Rahul led team have won three of their four matches in the IPL 2024 so far, and will be looking for another victory when they take on Delhi Capitals at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Friday. While everything is going smoothly for LSG at the moment, they can obviously choose to better their team.

Marcus Stoinis has been a player who hasn’t been able to set the stage of IPL 2024 on fire so far. Can they look beyond Stoinis and go for young Arshin Kulkrani against DC instead?

Stoinis has been pretty average for LSG in the tournament so far. In 4 matches, the Aussie all-rounder has only managed to score 108 runs, with his strike rate also a cause of concern. In the bowling department, Stoinis has only bowled one over, giving away 9 runs along with a wicket. In T20s, the all-rounders need to be all-rounders in the truest sense of the word. However, Stoinis’s inability to bowl is costing LSG runs. So what’s the solution?

Latest News on IPL

The solution can arrive in the form of Arshin Kulkarni. The U19 World Cup star, who is yet to get a game for LSG can be a perfect replacement for Marcus Stoinis. Kulkarni possesses the big hits, having scored a century in the U19 World Cup. Moreover, his medium pace can come in handy, especially with his change of pace being a lethal weapon in T20s. The added advantage for LSG is that they will be able to play an extra overseas batter or bowler depending upon the condition. But will LSG go for the switch?
