Manav Suthar has etched his name in the history books by becoming the 10th Indian to take a five-wicket haul on his Test debut. After performing consistently in domestic cricket and adding wickets to his tally, the spin all-rounder earned his much-awaited national call-up for the one-off Test against Afghanistan. And now, he has repaid the faith of the selectors brilliantly by choking Afghanistan and bagging his maiden five-wicket haul, that too on debut.

Afghanistan were bowled out for just 152 runs, after which a follow-on has been enforced by Shubman Gill’s India.
