Footballer Jude Bellingham, who plays for Real Madrid and England, has acquired a 1.20% stake in The Hundred franchise Birmingham Phoenix. The deal is valued at around £1 million (INR 12.65 crore). Knighthead Capital, owners of Birmingham City, for whom Bellingham played from 2019 to 2020, have a 48.40% stake in the franchise.

The PCB is investigating Mohammad Nawaz. The Pakistani all-rounder has tested positive for using recreational drugs during the T20 World Cup. As a result, he’ll lose his contract with Surrey for the T20 Blast. Nawaz featured in all eight matches for the ICC tournament, taking seven wickets as Pakistan bowed out of the Super 8 stage.
