IND playing XI for T20 World Cup final

India have decided to give Abhishek Sharma another chance by sticking with the same playing XI for the T20 World Cup final against New Zealand. The explosive opener has not been at his best in the marquee tournament and has just one fifty-plus score which happened to come against Zimbabwe in the Super 8 stage. India have also decided to bench Rinku Singh, which means Abhishek will have to stand an deliver in a contest that will determine if the Men i Blue create history.

India’s pace department comprises of Bumrah, Arshdeep and Pandya, with Dube acting as a part-timer. Varun continues to serve as the lone specialist spinner while Axar will assist him.
