IND vs NED: In their last league match, Team India brought in all-rounder Washington Sundar.

So, India won the toss in their final league match of the T20 World Cup vs Netherlands, and opted to bat. Having qualified already for the Super 8, Suryakumar Yadav rung in two changes in the playing XI, which were rather refreshing to see. All-rounder Washington Sundar came in for VC Axar Patel, while Arshdeep Singh came in for Kuldeep Yadav.

What really comes as a surprise is, the management continued with Jasprit Bumrah; there were expectations that the ace bowler could be rested before the Super 8s start for India on Feb 22. But still, this could be a good practice for him and the team, since the final will be hosted in Ahmedabad only, and the team could be looking to prepare for that game.

Meanwhile, Washi is playing his first match after a month-long hiatus. He had picked up an injury during the NZ ODIs, and had been out since then. In fact, he missed an entire T20I series vs the Kiwis, before getting fit a couple of matches back only. Coming back to the rest of the team, Ishan Kishan retained his opening spot along with Abhishek Sharma.

Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube were the two pace bowling all-rounders in the team. The latter could be seen getting a few overs as well, just to be ready for upcoming matches.

India (Playing XI): Ishan Kishan(w), Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav(c), Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Rinku Singh, Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, Varun Chakaravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah.

Netherlands (Playing XI): Michael Levitt, Max O’Dowd, Bas de Leede, Colin Ackermann, Scott Edwards(w/c), Zach Lion-Cachet, Noah Croes, Roelof van der Merwe, Logan van Beek, Aryan Dutt, Kyle Klein.
