Ahmed Shehzad
Prior to Yuvraj Samra, the record stood with Ahmed Shehzad, who achieved this feat in the 2014 T20 World Cup, which was played in Bangladesh. The Pakistan batter is now the second youngest as he hit a ton at the age of 22 years and 127 days against Bangladesh in Mirpur.
Suresh Raina
Next in the list is former India cricketer and a batting great Suresh Raina. Raina topped the list of youngest player to hit a century in T20 World Cup history for four years, before his record was broken by Pakistan’s Ahmed Shehzad and now by Canada’s Yuvraj Samra. Suresh Raina scored a century in India’s match against South Africa in T20 World Cup 2010, aged 23 years and 156 days.
