Updated Asia Cup 2025 Points Table

The Asia Cup 2025 group stage is all done, with India beating Oman in the final game. India had already sealed their place from Group A with dominant wins over Pakistan and UAE. Pakistan have followed suit with a 41-run win over UAE in their final game. In Group B, Sri Lanka have secured a place in the Super 4 winning all 3 games. Afghanistan’s chances to qualify ended following their loss on Thursday, with Bangladesh making the cut. Afghanistan, UAE, Oman and Hong Kong have all been knocked out.

This year’s edition is the 17th Asia Cup and is being played in the T20 format. Eight teams are in the fray, split across two groups, before the Super Four stage and the grand final on September 28.

Asia Cup 2025 Super Four Format

Once all the group stage matches are completed, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Four stage.

In this phase, each team plays three matches, one against each of the other Super Four teams. That means sides will face the opponent they already met in the group stage for the second time. The two best-placed teams after these fixtures will contest the final on September 28.

Asia Cup 2025 Final

The grand finale of the Asia Cup 2025 will be played on September 28. If two teams from the same group progress all the way, it will be their third meeting in the tournament, first in the group stage, then in the Super Four, and finally in the title clash.

India are the defending champions and have already won the Asia Cup eight times. Sri Lanka are not far behind with six titles, while Pakistan have won it twice. Afghanistan, who made a statement in the tournament opener, are widely seen as dark horses in this edition.
