In a move that’s set to delight fans across the nation, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are taking their IPL 2024 trophy on a historic tour across nine cities in India. The fans in Kolkata and other parts of Eastern India are known for their loyal commitment to their favourite teams. Hence, the passion for KKR is no different. To cater to their massive fanbase, this first-of-its-kind initiative by KKR is heartening to watch.
KKR to have a trophy tour before IPL 2025
Starting from February 14 in Guwahati, the trophy tour will travel to multiple cities, including Bhubaneswar, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Gangtok, Siliguri, Patna, Durgapur, and finally, Kolkata. The tour will culminate with two stops in Kolkata on March 12 and 16. It is a fantastic news for the fans, who will get to witness the first IPL 2025 match at the Eden Gardens as well on March 21. The exact IPL 2025 schedule will be announced in the next couple of days as well.
This exciting initiative is a unique opportunity for fans to get up close and personal with the coveted IPL trophy.
