Both Rohit and Sourav Ganguly have been aggressive captains leading his team from the front. While Rohit has been a trademark opener in recent years, Ganguly has shuffled his batting position from the top to the middle order depending on the demand of the team. All things seen and done, the stats definitively conclude that Sourav Ganguly has in fact been a better captain for India compared to Rohit Sharma as far as batting records are concerned.
