Royal Challengers Bengaluru: Released & Retained list for RCB Women’s ahead of WPL 2025 Auction

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women's team lifted the WPL 2024 trophy and will be eyeing to do the double in WPL 2025

After the din and bustle of the IPL Auction, it is now time for the WPL 2025 Auction. The Women’s Premier League auction is slated to be held on 15th December in Bengaluru. A total of 120 players will go under the hammer. But things are much easier for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru women’s team. The defending champions just have 4 spots left in the team which they will be keen to fill in the auction.

RCB Women’s team has a decent amount of money left in their purse. The defending champs have 3.25 crores left which would be more than enough for the team to buy 4 Indian players and complete their roster. This puts the team in a strong position monetary in the WPL 2025 Mini Auction

RCB Released Players Before WPL Auction

RCB went on to release 6 players on WPL 2025 Retention Day. They went on to leave Proteas pacer, Nadine de Klerk. However, they went on to take Danni Wyatt from UP Warriorz as a trade deal. Disha Kasat, Indrani Roy and Simran Bahadur are among the Indian players who have been released by the side.

Purse Left for WPL Auction

The goal for RCB Women is fairly simple. They have only 4 positions left to complete their roster. Interestingly, the team has no overseas options left. This essentially means, RCB Women can only buy 4 Indian players to complete their squad. And with a budget of 3.25 crores still remaining, RCB are in a strong position to fight for the title yet again this season.
