As per the French newspaper L’Equipe, post Tite’s exit, Brazilian Football Association is keen on getting a foreigner on board. Brazil are searching for a new manager after Tite resigned from the top post, after 4-2 loss in penalties to Croatia in the quarters.

According to reports, Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel, and Rafael Bentez are among those who have been linked with a role with Brazil. Since leaving Real Madrid in May 2021, Zidane has remained jobless but has been linked to a number of positions, including the French national team and Manchester United before Erik ten Hag was appointed.

Be it as a player, or as a manager, Zinedine Zidane has proven his credentials on both fronts. After retiring from active football in 2006, he took up the coaching role with Real Madrid and he hasn’t disappointed many since then.

  • Zidane also led his team to La Liga championships in 2016–17 and 2019–20.

Zidane has also been linked to the France position and a comeback to club management.
