The champions of the first-ever PUBG Mobile Global Championship, NOVA Esports started the year with a bang. NOVA Esports who represented China in the championship is the most popular PUBG Mobile team in the world. Nova Esports became the first team to claim the global trophy back-to-back. The team had awarded $1.5 million USD as prize money for the winner of PMGC 2021.

PMWI 2022: First-ever LAN event since the Pandemic
Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit humanity, most of the esports events had been canceled/ postponed/ shifted to online mode. Following this, PUBG Mobile Esports shifted all tournaments to an online format where teams and players can participate from their Bootcamp/home. In 2022, PUBG Mobile Esports returned with the LAN (Offline) event where we witnessed the first-ever global LAN event since the pandemic. PMWI 2022 featured top invited teams from around the world where Vampire Esports representing Thailand was crowned as the champion of the event. Vampire Esports also claimed the trophy of PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown.

CIS Teams returned in PUBG Mobile Esports 2022 Fall Season
Following the war between Russia and Ukraine, PUBG Mobile Esports has canceled the PMPL CIS 2022 Spring season before the Grand finals. CIS Region known as the toughest region of the European continental, had been removed from the esports ecosystem of PUBG Mobile. During the start of the Fall season of PMPL 2022, PUBG Mobile Esports invited some famous teams to participate from Western Europe and Turkey regions under the neutral flag. Natus Vincere, Virtus Pro, and many more are back in the competition again.
PMGC 2022 League Stage was a crazy ride for PUBG Mobile Esports fans
PUBG Mobile Global Championship is returned with the third edition of the biggest esports event of PUBG Mobile. This time, the number of participants went big, and a total of 50 teams are participating in the event. The PMGC 2022 League Stage featured a total of 48 teams. After a month-long competition featuring multiple stages, a total of 14 teams joined two globally invited teams at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 Grand Finals.
