xQc raises his voice to support Pokimane after she faces an online hate raid- In the recent turn of events, Pokimane faced a lot of online harassment and trolls. Twitch king xQc came in to defend Pokimane urging people to get over this hate raid. This all started with the Twitch streamer receiving a ban for reacting to the copyrighted material on Livestream. Following the ban, she faced a lot of hate online for breaching DMCA policies. On January 12, she was targeted for mass online abuse when Jidion’s viewers were directed to spam her stream with “L+Ratio”. This left her dejected and forced her to leave the stream midway.
As the situation got downhill with Pokimane, fellow streamers including Mizkif, Disguised Toast, Myth came in to support her and raised their voice against misogynist comments. xQc also joined in to defend Pokimane and talk about online trolls in general.

xQc approached it from a different angle and put forth his thoughts without the fear of judgements. “If this gets me canceled, so be it,” he said before rolling up his sleeves and getting stuck into it. He then explained the situation at hand in detail.
“It’s not about harassing the queen, or harassing Pokimane, or harassing women,” he said. “It’s about harassing anybody. If you’re going to be an idiot and a moron to a woman or to a man, don’t make it about the fact that they’re a woman or a man.”

“Is it that hard? I don’t think it’s that hard. I hate everybody. I don’t make it about that, though. If I end up hating or making a toxic remark to a woman, it’s not because it’s a woman. It has nothing to do with it. It’s the same way if I said something to a male”, he added.
This is not the first time that xQc has supported the Moroccan-Canadian streamer, but has done so in the past too. Fans cherish this wonderful support that streamers extend towards each other which helps strengthen the community.
