WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022: WWE Reveals Roman Reigns’ Next Opponent On SmackDown Tapings
As per the recent reports, WWE booked Roman Reigns for the main event of WWE WrestleMania Backlash. However, WWE didn’t disclose Reigns’ next opponent. Many fans speculated that Shinsuke Nakamura would be the possible challenger as he interrupted Reigns earlier. But Roman Reigns’ new challenger is Drew McIntyre.
During the Friday Night SmackDown tapings, fans saw a segment involving RK-Bro and The Usos for contract signing. During the contract signing, Roman Reigns also presented himself. On the other side, Drew McIntyre also showed up to confront Reigns. However, during the contract signing, both teams unleashed an attack on each other, resulting in Reigns and McIntyre in the ring.

As per the fans, they saw Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns confronting each other in the ring where McIntyre tossed Reigns. Later, Reigns escaped from the ring. This is quite obvious that McIntyre is Reigns’ next opponent.

Will Drew McIntyre be able to defeat Roman Reigns?
Drew McIntyre is one of the top contenders for the Undisputed Universal Championship. Since Roman Reigns defeated all the superstars on the SmackDown roster except McIntyre. It is quite obvious WWE would put him ahead to face Roman Reigns.
During the 2020 Survivor Series, both men fought each other in a champion vs champion match. The result of the match sided with Roman Reigns’ as Reigns delivered a low blow to win the match. However, this time it’s different. Reigns and McIntyre will fight each other for the WWE Undisputed Championship.
Drew McIntyre is also a tough competitor who defeated top WWE Superstars like Brock Lesnar, Sheamus, and Braun Strowman.
