WWE will hold WrestleMania 40 at the Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia. WWE will host its most prestige WrestleMania Premium Live Event on April 6 and April 7 in 2024. Recently, WWE’s Twitter account announced WWE’s return to Philadelphia after 25 years since WrestleMania 15 when Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated The Rock for the WWE Championship.

Recently, WWE’s new CEO Stephanie McMahon took to Twitter to announce WWE’s return to Philadelphia. WWE is undertaking new actions for future WWE events.

Soon after the announcement of the WrestleMania 40 venue, WWE issued a press release for the surprise news of his return to Philadelphia. “Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, PHL Sports, and WWE are proud to announce that Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia will host WWE’s pop-culture extravaganza, WrestleMania 40, on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, 2024,” the statement read.

In addition, the press release also gave venues for the WrestleMania weekend featuring the 2024 Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown. WWE will hold the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, WWE Raw, and SmackDown at the Wells Fargo Center. In addition, WWE will host multiple community outreach events, including hospital visits and other rallies during the 2024 WrestleMania weekend.
WWE fans in Philadelphia will experience the Showcase of Immortals once again after 25 years since 1999 at the First Union Center. It is also the first time for the Northeast after WrestleMania 35 at MetLife Stadium to hold WrestleMania. Many WWE fans would be excited to see the Showcase of Immortals back in the northeast.
