According to PWInsider, WWE is bringing Shane McMahon back to the WWE. He is being considered brought back for WrestleMania weekend. It is not yet confirmed if Shane will be back for a match or a segment.

However, there were rumors that Shane McMahon had various bust ups with multiple officials backstage and his father too. McMahon and others didn’t see eye to eye on various spots of the match and the way the match ended. This ended and various fights backstage, this let Vince let go of his son.
Uptil then, there were rumors of Shane McMahon starting a feud with post the rumble with Seth Rollins. This story would end with both superstars facing each other at WWE WrestleMania 38.

WWE WrestleMania 38 Live – Major Superstar Rumored to Return: Unfortunately, with Shane’s departure, plans with Seth Rollins got shelved. As rumors grew on Cody Rhodes signing with WWE, the chances of Rollins facing Rhodes had increased considerably.
On the latest edition of Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins was called to Vince McMahon’s office and The Boss promised to give him his WrestleMania moment. While everyone thought it was Cody Rhodes, potential return of Shane McMahon the possibilities are now wide open.
It will be interesting to see what direction WWE would like to take. Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins is brilliant, but one won’t mind Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins vs Shane McMahon as well.
