The Rock had a match set up with Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania XIX. However, before that The Hurricane would regularly get involved in funny backstage segments with The Rock on WWE Raw.

The Rock also openly made fun of The Hurricane. This made the Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff set up a match between The Hurricane and The Rock on WWE Raw.
From the beginning of the match, The Rock was completely in control. He made quick work of The Hurricane and mocked him too. However, as The Rock was set to destroy The Hurricane with People’s Elbow, Stone Cold Steve Austin’s theme song started playing. The Rock looked shockingly towards the entrance from which Austin walked out.
Stone Cold appeared and stared at his WrestleMania opponent. The Hurricane took advantage of this situation, he suddenly rolled up The Rock for the win.

Later in WrestleMania XIX, The Rock faced Stone Cold Steve Austin. The match began with both superstars brawling in the ring. However, The Rock performed three Rock Bottoms on Austin and decimated him. Thus, winning the match.
