The Beast Incarnate made a surprise return tonight in the opening segment of Smackdown to beat the hell out of the Universal Champion Roman Reigns & his cousins The Usos. He took The Bloodline to a Suplex City ride and then placed an F5 on both Jimmy & Jey.

The Beast Incarnate seems to be on a mission to recapture the Universal Championship. He returned tonight to start his legitimate feud with Roman Reigns heading into the WWE Crown Jewel event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
After closing off the opening segment by decimating Roman Reigns & The Usos, Brock Lesnar later appeared in a backstage segment where Kayla Braxton was interviewing Smackdown’s latest acquisition, Jeff Hardy. Lesnar confronted Hardy, who left the scene, and Lesnar was all alone with Kayla. He asked for the mic from Kayla and said that he is a free agent now, all because of his good friend Paul Heyman, and added that he could do whatever he wants to do as a free agent.

WWE Smackdown: Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WWE Crown Jewel
As mentioned above, Roman Reigns will face perhaps his toughest challenge in Brock Lesnar at the WWE Crown Jewel event. The Tribal Chief will defend his Universal Title against the Beast Incarnate in a one-on-one battle, which was announced prior to the Extreme Rules PPV, that took place on September 26.
