WWE Smackdown: Kevin Owens issues a warning to the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. After winning his brutal Last Man Standing match against Sami Zayn this past week on WWE Smackdown, Owens appeared on Talking Smack, where he called Paul Heyman to let him know that he is coming after Roman Reigns.
WWE Smackdown: Kevin Owens warns Roman Reigns
Kevin Owens had his opportunities to take down Roman Reigns, but Roman’s cousin Jey Uso always interfered in his matches to ensure Roman ends up retaining the Universal Championship title.
An agitated Kevin Owens appeared on Talking Smack to celebrate his victory over his bitter foe Sami Zayn. Owens took the opportunity to summon the Universal Champion Roman Reigns and let him know that he is coming after him.
“Paul, this is Kevin Owens, I am on Talking Smack. Don’t hang up! Don’t hang up! Just listen. And I know that’s hard for you, but I am only going to take a minute of your time.
A few months ago, I came on Talking Smack, and I told you that I was going after that Money in the Bank contract. And last night, I qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. I just still need you to know I am going to win that Money in the Bank contract. I am one step closer. So make sure Roman Reigns knows once I get that contract, I am coming for him, and there’s not a damn thing he can do about it.”
The words from Kevin Owens took Paul Heyman by surprise, and the special counsel hung up the call by saying,
“Sir, I’m sorry, you must have the wrong number.”

WWE Smackdown: Kevin Owens has high hopes of winning the Money in the Bank ladder match after taming Sami Zayn in a brutal last man standing match last week on WWE Smackdown. Owens has some unfinished business with Roman Reigns after Jey Uso’s repetitive interference in his Championship bouts earlier this year. With the statement Owens has issued on Talking Smack, it is clear that if he wins the MITB briefcase, he is coming after the Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
