1. Randy Savage’s Unsuccessful Attempt to Pin Yokozuna (1993)
One of the most bizarre moments of Royal Rumble happened when Randy Savage entered at number 30 and ended up in the top second position against Yokozuna. Savage for some reason took an attempt to pin Yokozuna, despite of the fact that pin falls means nothing in Royal Rumble. However, Yokozuna in the meanwhile used all his strength and sent Savage over the top rope, thus achieving his victory.
2. The Three Faces of Foley (1998)
One of the epic moments from 1998 Royal Rumble is where Mick Foley showed up in his all three personas throughout the match. He alternated himself as Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude love respectively throughout the match, collectively known as “Faces Of Foley”. Though Foley did not win the Royal Rumble, with his genius move he surely won lot of hearts.
3. Muhammad Hassan’s Elimination Based on Prejudice (2005)
The most bizarre thing that happened in Royal Rumble took place in 2005. As Muhammad Hassan entered the ring, every wrestler inside the ring stopped and stared at him. All the wrestlers namely Shelton Benjamin, Booker T, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Luther Reigns, and Edge teamed up, grabbed Hassan and tossed him over the top rope. He was thus eliminated even before he got a chance.
4. Santino Marella Lasts for Less Than 2 Seconds (2009)
