Until now, Roman Reigns has not defended his Undisputed Universal Title. Many fans were waiting for his first title defense. On the other hand, WWE provided another contract to Roman Reigns, scheduling him for fewer live TV appearances. As a result, it disappointed many fans.
Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio noted WWE booked Roman Reigns for only one appearance on WWE Raw this summer. He will be present on the July 25th edition of Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden before SummerSlam 2022.
Even Meltzer gave a note on Reigns’ title defense schedule. He said, “The title’s kind of like… It’s not gone right now, but it’s not even on every pay-per-view and the champion’s not on TV all that often and he’s never on RAW. Almost never on RAW. The only time Reigns is going to be on RAW is the RAW from Madison Square Garden. That’s his only RAW booking. The only time the champion will be on RAW pretty much the whole summer.”[H/T Ringside News]

WWE Raw: Paul Heyman put forth a new stipulation for Roman Reigns vs Riddle Undisputed Universal Title Match
On the recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns’ special counsel Paul Heyman kicked off WWE Raw on Miz TV. However, Riddle interrupted Heyman and Miz. Later, Heyman gave an update on Riddle’s match with Roman Reigns where he mentioned his talk with WWE Officials for a new stipulation.

According to the stipulation, if Riddle loses against the Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns, he will no longer be eligible for another title shot in future. This Friday Night, Roman Reigns will defend his title for the first time since winning it at WrestleMania 38.
