After the match, Sonya Deville walked out to the ring with an open contract in hand. She easily convinced Belair to sign the open contract first. When Belair’s back was turned while looking for her next opponent, Deville attacked her from behind.

Deville then revealed to all that she would be the next Challenger to Belair. WWE official Adam Pearce wasn’t thrilled with it, however, Deville informed him “It’s Official”. The two ladies will most likely face each other at WrestleMania Backlash, WWE is yet to confirm the same.

WWE Raw Results: A First Championship Run for Sonya Deville on WWE Raw
Sonya Deville joined the WWE in 2017 as a part of Absolution. This is currently her fifth year in the WWE and one could say it wasn’t that impressive. For three years the WWE Official has always a part of a team. Her first singles feud came against her real-life best friend Mandy Rose in 2020. The feud ended with Deville losing to Rose in a loser leaves the WWE match with Sonya going on a Hiatus.
She returned to the WWE in 2021, however, this time as a backstage official with Adam Pearce. Since her return, she hasn’t performed much in the ring. The only matches she has had were a few matches during her feud with Naomi and Ronda Rousey at the Elimination Chamber.
The WWE Universe may feel it’s a cakewalk for Bianca Belair. However, this is the moment Deville has waited for. Her first-ever championship shot and a potential run the all the motivation she will need to leave no stone unturned in her quest to win the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.
