Many fans and former WWE Superstars supported the former tag team champions. However, the situation in WWE backstage has gone worse for both superstars. Although fans have supported both women for their walkout, WWE took strict actions against them.
On the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE commentator Michael Cole announced the suspension of Sasha Banks and Naomi indefinitely. Cole mentioned WWE didn’t expect such behavior from the tag team champions and hence, both women were suspended for their walkout. In addition, WWE has announced a women’s tag team title tournament to crown new tag team champions.

Recently, it also noted WWE removed Sasha Banks and Noami’s merchandise from WWE shop. Fans aren’t able to buy the merchandise. Even though WWE shop displays their profile, fans couldn’t see their merchandise. Also, WWE replaced Sasha Banks with Cody Rhodes in their ‘Then, Now, Forever’ intro.

At Royal Rumble 2022, Ronda Rousey made her return to WWE eventually winning her ticket to WrestleMania 38. However, Sasha Banks, who was eliminated in the first half, was reportedly frustrated over losing her WrestleMania spot to Ronda Rousey.
A recent report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio gave an update on the former SmackDown Women’s Champion’s frustration. “Sasha has always had issues, she was mad that Ronda got the WrestleMania spot…it was planned for Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair which was planned for months, I wrote about it. She got moved down and they gave her the tag belts as kinda like a concession because she got moved down. Okay, if you’re looking at it from only Sasha’s [side], they lied to me, right?
