WWE Raw Live Results 17th October 2022: Another week and another edition of Monday Night Raw awaited the WWE Universe. This week’s show will stream live from the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar segment:
Lashley wastes no time in doing what he promised as he called out the Beast Incarnate. Brock made his entrance and the two superstars went at each other in the aisle. The former gained the early advantage in the brawl as he slammed Lashley into the ring post.

Bobby did not look like a man to go down easily as he launched his counter by spearing the former WWE Universal Champion through the timekeeper’s barricade. Referees tried to control a raging Lashley, but he slipped out and speared Lesnar again, this time through the announce table.

Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis Dozovic) vs. the OC (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows):
Anderson and Gable started the proceedings with a wristlock and headlock counters. Both wrestlers tagged in their partners and Gallows applied a big boot on Dozovic. Chad tried to intervene, seeing his partner in trouble but was shut off by Karl.

After the break, Dozovic tried a Vader Bomb on Anderson and rolled out of the way. The tag was made and Luke Gallows came in. He floored Chad Gable with a pump handle slam and tried to follow it up with Magic Killer. Otis broke it up and sent Gallows to the Floor. However, the big man took out Otis to the still steps which left Gable and Anderson in the ring. After an interesting quick segment, the latter applied the Magic Killer on Gable for the win.
Judgement Day segment with AJ Styles and OC:
The heel faction came out to speak to Styles and the OC, who were standing in the ring. Finn Balor started talking for them and Damian Priest joined in to issue a warning for AJ Styles and the OC. Balor then went on to challenge Styles and co. to a match at Crown Jewel.

AJ was quick to accept but was puzzled why they do not do it right there. The former WWE Champion then said that Judgment Day needs to take permission from Rhea Ripley to do that. Dominik cut Styles and asked him to stay shut. The latter pitched Dominik the idea for a singles match which Ripley accepted on behalf of the Mysterio. Before the segment ended, The former TNA star asked Dominik to take time to get ready as he would do what Rey should have done a lot before.
Seth Rollins and Mustafa Ali segment:
The former Shield member introduced himself as the new United States Champion and asked his followers to sing his song. Rollins then went on to say that his reign is going to be the most historic United states Championship reign of all time. He also admitted that he tapped when Riddle had him in the triangle sleeper at Extreme Rules but highlighted it to be a strategic move to be fit for the match against Bobby Lashley.

Mustafa Ali made his entrance and expressed his desire to compete for the United States Championship. He also mentioned that Bobby had promised him a shot at the title. Rollins refused to give him the chance and asked him to get at the back of the line. Ali seemed adamant and plucked Rollins’ sunglasses off his head before wanting to fight the champion. Rolins engaged Ali in talks and blindsided him to beat him down. Mustafa tried to launch a counter, but Seth had the last laugh.
Meanwhile, John “Bradshaw” Layfield’s limousine was seen arriving in the arena.
Seth Rollins vs Matt Riddle: US Title
After Seth Rollins interrupted Elias and Matt Riddle’s musical tribute, Seth Rollins competed in a championship match against Matt Riddle. The match started with Matt Riddle with the triangle hold but Rollins slipped out of the ring. Although Riddle gave a strong start Rollins rolled up with a massive counter overpowering his opponent.

Meanwhile, Seth Rollins talked trashed about Elias, who delivered a knee strike, leaving him on the ground. After the commercial break, both men continued to fight inside the ring by delivering heavy blows to each other. Riddle took advantage of the situation with multiple maneuvers to slay the champion.

Riddle delivered a knee to Rollins’ jaw, followed by a Bro Derek. However, the champion kicked out the pin cover. In the final moments of the match, Riddle tried the triangle lock but Rollins delivered the powerbomb. The former Raw tag team champion decimated Rollins. In the final moments of the match, Riddle tried to hit the RKO when Elias interrupted, allowing the US Champion to deliver the final blow. The match ended up with Seth Rollins retaining his US Title.
