Ava Raine is an upcoming superstar in the WWE. She is the daughter of WWE Legend The Rock. Raine currently is in WWE Developmental training to become a WWE superstar. It is suspected that Ava could make her WWE debut anytime soon.

While many felt she will debut at NXT 2.0, we never know she could make it directly to WWE Raw. Especially after Edge teased her as a potential future Judgement Day member. Raine recently has been in the news a lot due to her name change.

Simone Johnson is now another member of the Samoan lineage to join the WWE. Her name was changed to Ava Raine and that hasn’t impressed the fans a lot. It shares no connection with her father or anyone from the family.

Johnson recently took to Twitter to share her thoughts on wrestlers changing their names. She didn’t understand why it was a big deal for people to not take their family name.

Johnson not taking her family name should not be a problem. There are various examples from her family. Her cousins are the likes of Roman Reigns, The Uso’s, Nia Jax, and Rikishi haven’t taken their family name and yet became superstars.
