Hayes is currently the NXT North American Champion and is currently doing very well. He singed with WWE in February of 2021. He made his debut on the 1st June episode where he accepted the open challenge of Khusida for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship, however fell short.
He then became a part of the WWE NXT Breakout tournament. He defeated Odessy Jones in the finals to win that whole thing. Later that year he made his debut as a heel tag team along side Trick Williams by attacking Duke Hudson.
In an October edition of NXT 2.0, He successfully cashed in his breakout tournament contract on Isiah Scott to win the WWE NXT North American Championship. Since then there is no looking back. He has had some great defenses against the likes of Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne.
