WWE News: WWE United States Champion Austin Theory isn’t intimidated by WWE Legend John Cena, reveals his mindset going into Wrestlemania 39, Follow Live Updates
On the March 6 episode of Monday Night Raw Austin Theory and John Cena faced each other. Though the two Superstars didn’t fight each other physically their verbal battle included throwing insults at each other rapidly.
Later, the WWE Universe laid its views on the Theory-Cena segment. The majority considered that John Cena buried Austin Theory with his comments.

However, the WWE United States Champion Austin Theory recently appeared on the After The Bell Podcast with Corey Graves. During the podcast, Theory was asked whether a rivalry with Cena would prove to be negative for his career but he quickly stopped such speculations.
Theory stated “And it’s kind of funny, that scenario kind of relates to what just happened with John Cena, you know, everybody online is like, you’re buried, you’re done, you’re finished. I’m like, You guys are idiots, you really are. I mean, yes, John Cena needs to say everything he can, because he’s gonna go back to Hollywood until WrestleMania and go put his skirt and heels on.” (H/T:- Inside The Ropes)
During their face-to-face encounter, Austin Theory challenged John Cena to a match at WrestleMania 39. Though Cena didn’t accept Theory’s challenge at first, later due to a massive cheer from the audience Cena accepted Theory’s challenge.
Thus, John Cena and Austin Theory will face each other at WrestleMania 39 for the WWE United States Championship.
