The match featured Braun Strowman and Ricochet against Imperium. Both teams fought hard in the match eventually ending the match in a win for the new tag team of Braun Strowman and Ricochet. WWE SmackDown Results: Braun Strowman and Ricochet defeat Imperium to win the SmackDown Tag Team Tournament
The match started with Ricochet and Ludwig Kaiser locking horns with each other. Although Imperium gave a great start to the match, they failed to keep their momentum till the end. Also, the Intercontinental Champion Gunther tried to aid his teammates but instead, he got banned from the ringside.

Both teams continued to battle until the very end when Braun Strowman tagged in decimating the former NXT Tag Team Champions. The match took a turn for Imperium when the Monster Among All Monsters knocked Kaiser and Vinci. Eventually, Strowman delivered a massive powerbomb following a splash from Ricochet pinning Imperium to punch their ticket for their SmackDown Tag Team Titles.

With a big victory, Strowman and Ricochet will challenge The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles next week. The tournament started with 8 teams where Drew McIntyre and Sheamus would have ended up in the final but they relinquished their chance to Strowman and Ricochet.

WWE SmackDown Results: The Usos have already defeated Judgment Day for the Raw Tag Team Titles
Last month, WWE also held a tournament to determine new contenders for the Raw Tag Team Titles. The Tournament was won by Judgment Day’s Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio who later on challenged The Usos for the tag team titles.
Unfortunately, they lost their chance despite one Uso down. Jimmy Uso was injured during the match who was later replaced by Sami Zayn. Eventually, Sami Zayn stood for The Bloodline and marched them to victory successfully defending the tag team titles. With new opponents on board, The Usos will once again put their titles on the line next week.
