Wade Barrett is enjoying his present job as the WWE colour commentator, however, he isn’t ruling out the possibility of an in-ring return. Moreover, he stated WWE superstar Austin Theory is the one who could tempt him to make his in-ring return.
In a recent interaction with the Daily Star, Wade was questioned about an in-ring return. There, he took the name of the WWE United States Champion and said that he is the guy who could bring him back.
Besides praising Austin Theory he stated that Theory could be a top star in WWE for the next 20 years. He added that “That’s the kind of person I would certainly be looking at if it was to be a youngster I’d step in the ring with.”
Wade mentioned that Theory’s character on WWE is easily hated and said that he could relate to the heat Austin Theory receives from the audience. According to Wade, Theory will keep climbing the ladder of success.
He then said “There are so many youngsters coming through right now that I’ve been really impressed with. I’m going to cherry-pick one that I worked with a bit in NXT. He’s young, up and coming, and I think he’s got a huge future, and that’s Austin Theory.”

Barrett also mentioned that he is not ruling out an in-ring return even if it’s not against the WWE United States Champion, Austin Theory.
