Two months back, Grayson Waller won the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline earning a future opportunity for the NXT Championship. Since then, Waller is engaged in a fierce rivalry with NXT Champion Bron Breakker who is successfully reigning as the champ in his second run. However, his new opponent has his own mind games underneath his sleeves.
The two men have constantly engaged in heated promos and the backstage fight ahead of their championship match. Although Waller and Breakker collided at NXT New Year’s Evil, it ended up in a no-contest. As announced, both men will face each other at NXT Vengeance Day in a Steel Cage match.
