WWE is unsure about Ronda Rousey’s WrestleMania 39 opponent
Earlier, there were plans for the big WrestleMania match between Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch. Although both women have squared off in the ring, they didn’t compete in a one-on-one bout. Hence, Lynch vs Rousey was planned for the main event of WrestleMania Night 1.
Recently, Fightful Select has reported WWE has no plans to feature Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch for WrestleMania. However, the Baddest Woman on the Planet is still expected to have a match at the biggest show of all time but there are doubts regarding her opponent. On the other hand, there is no update on Becky Lynch’s match for the show.

Last week, Ronda Rousey successfully defended her SmackDown Women’s Title against Raquel Rodriguez. Unfortunately, the worse was yet to come. Following her match, Charlotte Flair made her surprise return to challenge the champion for a title shot, eventually, winning the title to become the 14-time champion in WWE history.
WWE holds mixed plans for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39
As noted earlier, WWE has different plans for the Undisputed Universal Champion at the SoFi Stadium show in April. Roman Reigns is supposed to face his cousin The Rock, however, the Hollywood Star is yet to sign a contract. This leaves WWE with a backup plan for Roman Reigns.

As per recent reports, the company will split the titles before WrestleMania 39 with the WWE Championship being on the line in a triple-threat match. The match will feature Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Drew McIntyre but Rhodes is also expected to headline a different match against Roman Reigns if The Rock vs Reigns doesn’t occur.

Currently, WWE has no intention to split the titles before WrestleMania 39 and the latest report suggests WWE will possibly split the titles after the WrestleMania draft.
