The Undertaker recently spoke to Ariel Helwani on BT Sport, where he stated that Cody Rhodes is the ‘logical guy’ who he thinks could end Roman Reigns’ Supremacy.
The Undertaker said “At this point, it’s gotta be the right person (to end Roman Reigns’ time as champion) and one, it’s gotta be somebody that you trust and you know is not gonna flake off and do something because there’s a lot of time and money invested in this whole thing at this point. I think Cody (Rhodes) with the momentum that he had, I think that would be the logical guy” (H/T: POST Wrestling)
He also called Sami Zayn a dark horse and mentioned that between Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes, the latter is the right person to end Roman Reigns’ long run as the Undisputed Champion.
Cody Rhodes returned to WWE and participated in the men’s Royal Rumble match 2023. He outlasted 29 other Wrestlers to become the winner of Royal Rumble 2023. With that, he went on to challenge Roman Reigns for a singles match at WrestleMania 39 for the WWE Universal Championship title.
