The WWE King and Queen of the Ring Tournaments will take place at the King and Queen of the Ring event on May 27 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The King of the Ring Tournament is a men’s professional wrestling single-elimination tournament held by WWE. It was established in 1985 and the prize for winning the tournament is being crowned as the ‘King Of The Ring’.
The King of the ring was originally an annual WWE Pay-per-view from 1993 to 2002 before it was retired. Since then, it has been revived six times with matches taking place on TV and the finals airing on pay-per-view. Although the event failed to retain the original magic. Also, a women’s version of the tournament was launched in 2021.

Xavier Woods and Zelina Vega are the current winners of the WWE King and Queen of the ring. They won the tournaments in 2021. However, in May they will be defending their crowns.
