Owing to his injury Kingston is currently sidelined. He had a major match on Friday Night SmackDown this week but WWE had to replace him keeping account of the present scenario.
However, there seems to be good news lying ahead for the WWE Superstar. According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kofi Kingston’s injury is expected to keep him out of action for nearly 5 weeks. Thus WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston might return to action after 5 weeks.
However, earlier there was concern that the time frame would be longer because he was considered to be needing surgery. However, it has been made clear that he won’t be needing surgery anymore.

The injury occurred when Drew McIntyre did a running flip dive on several people. The injury was also mentioned to be a “Fluke” injury.
Kingston had a match scheduled on the March 10, 2023, episode of WWE SmackDown but now Kingston’s tag team partner, Xavier Woods would be taking his place in the upcoming match. Thus, as of now, Kofi Kingston does not have a WrestleMania booking yet. Let us see if he gets added to a match at the showcase of the Immortals in the near future.
