WWE News: The Undertaker says he can’t live up to expectations for another match- The Undertaker is synonymous with WWE, just like Tiger Woods to Golf, Kobe Bryant to NBA, and Messi & Ronaldo to Football.
The Deadman has established himself as the identity of pro-wrestling and the one of the greatest to ever step foot inside the squared circle. He remained loyal to WWE for more than three decades, and his contributions to WWE will forever remain unmatchable.
The Undertaker hung his boots officially at the 2020 Survivor Series PPV behind closed doors at the WWE Performance Center, but we all want WWE to give him a memorable farewell which he richly deserves.
WWE News: The Undertaker skeptical over wrestling another match
As mentioned above, The Undertaker officially retired last year at the Survivor Series PPV, an event where he started his WWE journey 30 years back in 1990 (1989 in WCW). Ever since his retirement, fans on social media have expressed their desire to see him wrestle one more match.
Recently, the Deadman sat down for an interview with Dallas Morning News, where he commented on whether he plans to wrestle again for his ardent fans. He said that he might push for one more match, but he may not live up to the expectations,
“Yeah, of course, it does. I think it’s always in my head and in my heart, especially getting ready for WrestleMania here at AT&T Stadium it’s just like … man. But it’s just at a point where physically, I can’t perform at a level. I mean, I could go out and walk through something, and I could get through a match. But I can’t give people what they expect at this point.

He further added, “When you see Undertaker, you pay money to see that guy wrestle. I can’t deliver physically on what people’s expectations are. … The passion is obviously still there. I think that will always be there. It’s just the physical side of it. … My time has come, my time has gone. This is the WWE and things happen, you never know. But I know that my time has passed and it’s time for these young guys to step up and take over and lead us to where we’re going.”
WWE News: Will The Undertaker return to the ring again?
The Undertaker recently revealed that he would like to train his daughter if she would want to become a pro-wrestler. However, before his daughter bursts into the scene, we could see the Deadman wrestle once again. Let’s just hope that The Undertaker comes out of retirement.
