WWE News: Stone Cold Steve Austin Recalls Being 100% At WrestleMania 38 Against Kevin Owens
At WrestleMania 38, Stone Cold Steve Austin fought Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match. The match was pretty intense, with Stone Cold pushing all limits to destroy Owens. Earlier, Owens called him out on Monday Night Raw, which led up to a match at WrestleMania 38. Eventually, Austin displayed wonderful wrestling moves at an old age.
Recently, the WWE veteran appeared on Brewbound Podcast, where he recalled his WrestleMania match with Kevin Owens at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. He also mentioned he never imagined his in-ring return. He said that on his return, he felt absolutely fine and was cool to wrestle once again.
“Oh, I’m 100 percent. I picked up a little bit of a cold the other day but I’m back home in Nevada. Shoot, [Saturday], I was 100 percent and of course went back in action on Sunday, did a little extra physicality as a part of the show but, you know, it’s just an exciting time for me to back to a business that I really, really love and you know, I never thought I’d be back in a ring but, there we were headlining, main event for the — headlining WrestleMania for night one and it was just truly an honor to be out there and really excited to be out there. At WrestleMania 38, Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Kevin Owens in the No Holds Barred Match with an impressive stunner in the end to win.
The Texas Rattlesnake also mentioned that he would like to return to WrestleMania 39 if Vince McMahon calls him up. WrestleMania 39 known as WrestleMania Hollywood will be held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
