However, recently, Vince McMahon stepped down as the WWE CEO and Chairman. Eventually, he stepped down from his position in order to cooperate with the internal investigation and handed it over to his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, to become the interim CEO of WWE.
On Friday, WWE released an official statement that included the news of Stephanie McMahon being the interim CEO of WWE. Recently, she gave an update on her return and shared her thoughts with the WWE talent. As per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, Stephanie McMahon has informed her return to the WWE Staff.
In a message, she wrote, “I will be returning from my leave of absence and assuming the role of interim Chairwoman and CEO.
I love our company and am excited to continue to work with our President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan and our Chief Financial & Administrative Officer Frank Riddick.

Earlier this month, Stephanie McMahon announced a leave of absence to spend her time with her family. However, with recent actions on Vince McMahon, she stepped in to return to WWE.

On the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Vince McMahon kicked off the show with a warm welcome and thanked the WWE Universe for its support. Although the WWE backstage was afraid of Vince McMahon’s mood, people backstage noted a pleasant look on Vince McMahon’s face.
As per Fightful Select, people backstage noted Vince McMahon acted as usual and carried a smile on his face. Although being pulled into an internal investigation, he showed no signs of being disturbed. In addition, WWE backstage ran the show smoothly as per the schedule with no last-minute changes.
