Recently, the Heartbreak Kid talked about multiple things, including the main event of NXT Halloween Havoc. He praised the former NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov and JD McDonagh in the post-show media call.

“It exceeded, but then again, I knew those guys were gonna tear the house down. Ilja Dragunov is special, but JD … he’s been special since day one. He is so good. There is nothing that he can’t do. He was the perfect guy to tie that together.”
In addition, Shawn Michaels mentioned the work ethics of both Dragunov and McDonagh, who had an impressive run in the UK.

The main event of Halloween Havoc ended up with mass destruction from Bron Breakker to retain the NXT Title continuing his reign of 200 days.

WWE NXT Halloween Havoc featured 6 matches with 3 title bouts. The show started with a Fatal 5-way ladder match crowning a new champion, Wes Lee. Later, we see Mandy Rose go ruthless against Alba Fyre with the NXT Women’s Title on the line. The match concluded with Mandy Rose retaining her championship.

Other matches featured Apollo Crews winning the Casket match, Roxanne Perez winning the weapons match and Julius Creed winning the Ambulance match. The main event of Halloween Havoc had the triple threat match with Bron Breakker delivering a spear to Ilja Dragunovt to retain the NXT title.
