However, last month, Vince McMahon retired from his position and said a final goodbye to his long-built empire of professional wrestling. Many WWE superstars, including Reigns, shared a close bond with Vince McMahon, who pushed the superstars to new heights.

Recently, Roman Reigns revealed his relationship with Vince McMahon and how he reacted to Mr. McMahon’s retirement. While speaking to Sports Illustrated, the Undisputed Universal Champion mentioned Vince McMahon sent him a personal message after his retirement. He said he thought Vince McMahon stepping down was temporary and Mr. McMahon will come back still running the show even if Reigns retires.
“So I think that was just, ‘Okay, we’ll see in six months or something like that’, was kind of the mindset that I initially took. Then we received the talent relations text message, and then obviously a personal message from him and we talked a little bit,” Reigns said. [H/T WrestlingNewsCo]

WWE News: Roman Reigns is still the biggest superstar despite Vince McMahon’s retirement
Roman Reigns has been the company’s biggest star since his return in 2020. Many WWE fans loved WWE’s decision to turn Reigns heel, which worked well. In addition, many fans labeled him as the savior of SmackDown who brought the blue brand back on track after becoming the Universal Champion.
The Head of the Table achieved many milestones and carried the company to new heights. With Triple H taking charge of WWE’s creative team, Reigns is still the biggest superstar on the main roster with celebrity status. He brought tremendous growth in his character and brought many fans back to Friday Night SmackDown, which suffered a tremendous loss in the absence of the Tribal Chief.
