Roman Reigns: Paul Heyman demands EMMY AWARD for Roman Reigns’ TRIBAL CHIEF character
While speaking with Variety, the special counsel talked about Roman Reigns’ in-ring character and how Reigns has developed it further. Later, Heyman said Roman Reigns’ current character should receive an award worth for his Tribal Chief character.
“I will honestly state that I’ll put Roman Reigns and his portrayal of the Tribal Chief up against anybody right now in how he has approached a reality-based character of the top star of the industry. The fact that he’s not recognized by the people that are there to reward such performances with an award, to me, is disconcerting,” said Heyman.
Further, continued to talk about the recent Sami Zayn angle at the 2023 Royal Rumble. He said WWE should be up for Emmy as the Bloodline storyline is worth watching.
“We’re trying to present a body of work that exceeds all boundaries and limitations that have been imposed upon this industry, either self-imposed or imposed by the predetermined notion of what this business is by the outside world, as evidenced by the fact that we’re sitting here today talking about the unfathomable concept of the Emmy Awards because a year ago we would have been laughed out of the conversation. Currently, Roman Reigns is engaged in a storyline with Sami Zayn and soon both men will face each other at the Elimination Chamber. On the other hand, fans have totally involved themselves in the storyline.
Roman Reigns is indeed a great asset to WWE. Despite several downfalls in the years prior, he overcame all obstacles and finally got the fans’ support he craved for.
