As per the latest reports, WWE has no plans to strip Roman Reigns from his titles this year and the Head of the Table is not willing to fall under the babyface category. Recently, Ringside News was told about Reigns and Paul Heyman refusing the babyface turn for Reigns’ character.

A tenured member from WWE’s creative team reported the vision of Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman towards the Tribal Chief gimmick. “They both are always telling writers “the character is the champion, the top attraction, the WrestleMania main event, the one who everyone relies on.” They always use the word “burden” as in “the burden the top attraction feels at all times.” [H/T Ringside News]

Roman Reigns became the Universal Champion in 2o20 after his return short pandemic break. Since then, he has escalated his wrestling career in WWE and made a significant image with his Universal Title reign. In recent years, Roman Reigns dominated the main roster featuring in some of the intense matches.
The Tribal Chief defeated the likes of John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Edge, Kevin Owens and many more. Currently, Reigns stands as the longest reigning WWE Universal Champion with 740 days and counting.
