WWE News: Ric Flair thought that Roman Reigns had lost respect for him
While speaking to Conrad Thompson, Ric Flair explained that there was a point in time when he thought that he has lost the respect of Roman Reigns. It all started in 2018 when WWE’s women’s division saw the rise of Becky Lynch. Lynch started calling herself “The Man” – a name that the Nature Boy tried to trademark in 2019. However, things got sorted out in 2021 when WWE trademarked the term. Despite the sorting out, Flair consistently slammed Lynch for which he thought the Tribal Chief lost respect for him.
“I was concerned that I had lost the respect of Roman Reigns. Because when that whole ‘Man’ thing went upside down and all that and I had to file the trademark, whatever transpired, it means nothing now. I think people, I heard that he… and I walked right up to him. I said, ‘Can I have a minute of your time?’ and I said, ‘Hey, it means a lot to me.’ I mean, you want the kids [current WWE Superstars] to look forward to you coming, not, ‘Oh man, here he comes again.’ Does that make sense? Especially when you have a daughter who is at the most elite position she could be in.”

WWE News: Ric Flair wants Randy Orton to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39
While there have been reports of the Rock and Cody Rhodes as possible opponents for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, the Nature Boy has come up with a different option. He believes WWE could throw Randy Orton into the mix.
“God, what do you do with Randy. He’s the best worker in the company. He’s coming back. He’s not even mentioned in the WrestleMania process and he’ll come [to] wrestle Roman. Well, not for the title. I mean, I’m pretty sure of that. You would know better than me but I don’t thinked they’ve worked for the championship since Roman has been champion,” said Flair.
